Job Details.

With Qatar Airways, the top goal of your work as a cabin crew would be to provide customer service for passengers in the airline industry’s service standards, and take care of their safety. This job requires a great deal of professionalism, cohesion within the team, and leadership for all operations within the cabin.

Key Responsibilities

Greet all passengers and assist in making their travel experience a positive one.

Present safety information and ensure compliance with all safety regulations.

Supervise cabin safety regulations and ensure all seat arrangements and safety gear are in order.

Serve food and drinks according to the dietary needs of the passenger, and for the onboard items for sale.

Curate passengers requirements and deal satisfactorily to all issues and complaints.

Assist all the elderly passengers, young children who are travelling alone, and disabled people.

Keep the cabin tidy and organize throughout the flight.

Stay cool in emergencies and give first aid if needed.

Accurately file in-flight service documents and completed administrative reports and incident logs.

Work with the pilots and other crew members to communicate and run the cabin in an orderly fashion.

Required skills and attributes

Ability to communicate well and form good relationships with other people.

Strong sense of customer service and an interest in luxury hospitality.

Stay calm and professional during challenging situations.

Able to define and resolve problems and settle disputes.

Ability to work long hours and often travel to different places.

Able to keep to yourself, be accountable, and work with a group.

Educational and professional requirements.

Minimum qualification is a high school diploma.

Proficiency in English is required and knowledge of other languages is a bonus.

No prior experience is necessary, though experience in hospitality, aviation, customer service or tourism is a plus.

Eligibility criteria

You have to be at least 18 to apply.

You have to be able to reach at least 212 cm when you are on your tiptoes.

You need to have a healthy body weight and a healthy BMI.

No tattoos, piercings, or other noticeable things which will be visible in uniform.

You should be in good overall health and able to travel internationally.

You should have a current passport You need to pass all background checks, including criminal and security checks.

Training & Development

People who are accepted for the position will be trained at the Qatar Airways Training Centre located in Doha. The following modules will be covered:

Safety and emergency procedures

Fire and evacuation drills

Medical and first aid

Customer service

Aviation security and procedures onboard

Cultural communication and sensitivity

When they graduate from the training program, the candidates will commence with ongoing evaluations and assisted career pathways

Work Environment & Schedule

Cabin Crew service operate on a cyclic timetable which can include weekends, nights and holidays.

There will be opportunity for both short and long-haul flights to a wide variety of destinations around the world.

Crew members will be housed in Doha, Qatar, and will be granted accommodation for the duration of their employment.
