Job Overview
Position: Safai Karamchari (Sanitation Worker)
Location: Rajasthan, India
Number of Posts – 23820
Salary: Initial monthly salary of ₹18,900 during a two-year probation period, after which it increases to ₹56,800 Per Month
Key Responsibilities:
Safai Karamcharis are responsible for maintaining cleanliness in urban and rural areas, including streets, public spaces, and sewers. Their tasks may include: Safai Karamchari Jobs
- Sweeping roads and public areas.
- Cleaning sewers and drainage systems.
- Ensuring overall sanitation and hygiene in the assigned areas.
This role is essential for public health and environmental sanitation, directly contributing to the upkeep of communal spaces.
Eligibility Criteria:
Age Limit-
Candidates must be between 18 to 40 years old, with relaxation available for reserved categories (up to 5 years for SC/ST)
Educational Qualification-
No formal education is required, but applicants must be permanent residents of Rajasthan and have at least one year of experience in sanitation work
Other Requirements.
Candidates need to provide proof of their sanitation work experience, which can be issued by the local municipality or authorized agencies
