Yantrik (Technical)

  • Educational Qualifications: A candidate must possess a diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Electronics/ Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

Physical Standards for All Posts’

Candidates must meet certain physical standards, including minimum height (157 cm), weight proportional to height and age, and a chest expansion of at least 5 cm. The medical standards include sound mental and physical health, normal hearing, and a 6/6 vision (without glasses).

Selection Process

The selection process for Indian Coast Guard recruitment 2024 consists of four stages:

Stage I – Written Examination:

The first step in the recruitment process is the written exam, which tests candidates on subjects relevant to the position applied for. The exam consists of objective-type questions based on the educational qualifications of the candidates.

Stage II – Physical Fitness Test (PFT).
