The National Investigation Agency (NIA) Recruitment 2024 is currently inviting applications for 119 Inspector and Constable positions. Position Details:

  • Job Title: NIA Police Inspector & Constable
  • Total Vacancies: 600

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit:

  • Constable: 18 to 25 years
  • Inspector: 21 to 30 years
  • Age relaxation available as per government rules for SC/ST/OBC categories.

Educational Qualification:

  • Constable: 12th pass or equivalent from a recognized board.
  • Inspector: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.

Physical Standards (approximate, modify as required by state/country norms):

Height:

Male: Minimum 5 feet 7 inches

Female: Minimum 5 feet 3 inches

Chest (for Male): 32 inches (unexpanded) and 34 inches (expanded)

Physical Endurance Test (PET):

Male: 5 km run in 25 minutes.

Female: 1.6 km run in 8 minutes.

NIA Selection Process

The recruitment process will be in three stages?

  1. Written Examination: Tests candidates on General Knowledge, Numerical Aptitude, and Logical Reasoning.
  2. Physical Endurance Test (PET): Candidates will be evaluated based on physical efficiency and endurance.
  3. Interview & Document Verification: Final selection will involve an interview and thorough document verification.

How to Apply NIA?

Application Fee

  • General / OBC / EWS: 1500/-
  • SC / ST / PH: 999/-
  • Pay the Exam Fee Through Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI Fee Mode Only
  1. Register with a valid email ID and mobile number.
  2. Fill out the application form, uploading necessary documents such as educational certificates, ID proof, and a recent passport-sized photograph.
  3. Submit the application and save a copy for future reference.

Benefits and Salary

  • Police Inspector: 80,000 – 96,000/month (with allowances)
  • Constable: 56,000 – 60,000/month (with allowances)
  • Benefits: Pension scheme, health benefits, housing allowance, and professional training.

Selection Process NIA

Candidates will be selected based on their eligibility and the completeness of their application documents. The application must include a duly filled bio-data, attested APAR dossier, vigilance clearance certificate, integrity certificate, and details of any penalties from the last 10 years.

Incomplete or late applications will not be considered. The final selection will follow the rules and guidelines set by the Government of India for deputation appointments.
