📘 Job Role and Responsibilities
- Token Operator
- Dispenser metro tokens and smartcards to passengers.
- Manage transactions and operate ticket vending machines.
- Provide information and assist passengers in ticket-related issues.
- Control passenger movements and ticketing systems.
- Prepare and record machine shifts, maintain, and control machine interruptions.
Ticket Counter Executive
- Control ticket sales and customer relations at the counter.
- Manage and balance cash and other transactions.
- Guide passengers on the fare, routes, and operational hours of the Metro.
- Daily cash and account closing must be reported to the officer in charge of the station.
- Encourage the use and payment of smart cards along with other advanced payment systems.
STATION CONTROLLER: “·
Supervise station activities on a daily basis and ensure safety measures are followed. · Watch over passengers and manage movement and crowd in addition to other emergencies. · Manage a team consisting of a token operator and a customer service operator. · Relay any technical and security concerns to the control room. · Oversee the distribution of station power, the signaling and the communication systems.
TRAIN PILOT:
Drive the metro trains in a safe manner and in a timely fashion. · Carry out necessary inspections before leaving the station. · Operate the train and monitor the brakes, control the speed, and other necessary functionalities of the train. · Collaborate closely with members of the control room and those stationed in the station. · Safeguard and secure the passengers and also take charge of any emergencies that may arise.
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS:
Token Operator is expected to be in the 10 / 12 Pass category or possess a Diploma, while the Ticket Counter Executive must have graduated in any stream. Station Controller is required to have a Diploma or B.Tech in any of the following fields: Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical or Civil Engineering. A Train Pilot has to possess a Diploma or B.Tech in any of the following fields: Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics Engineering. All applicants should have basic computer knowledge and good communication skills. Candidates who have worked in the metro or railway operations will be given preference.”
🕒 Work Schedule
Shifts: Flexible Morning / Evening / Night Shift
Working Days: 6 days a week
Weekly Off: 1 day (as per schedule)
💰 Salary & Benefits
- Token Operator / Ticket Counter Executive: ₹25,000 – ₹35,000 per month
- Station Controller: ₹35,000 – ₹45,000 per month
- Train Pilot: ₹40,000 – ₹55,000 per month
