Former Delhi CM Atishi, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal, Andhra Pradesh CM N. Chandrababu Naidu, and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat are among those invited to the swearing-in ceremony at Ramlila Maidan. Invitations have also been extended to JJ cluster residents, gig workers, as well as taxi and autorickshaw drivers
PTI reported that the BJP’s Parvesh Verma; Ashish Sood, Manjinder Singh Sirsa,
Raviraj Indraj Singh, Kapil Mishra, and Pankaj Kumar Singh will take the oath of office as ministers.
The mystery surrounding Delhi’s next chief minister was solved on Wednesday. At a crucial meeting, BJP MLAs selected Rekha Gupta (50) as their leader. She had already spoken to Lieutenant Governor V.K. Saxena and staked her claim to form the next government.
Meanwhile, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) criticized the BJP for its delay in announcing the name and asked it to turn attention back to law and order after it got a chief minister.

The event is due to start at 11am and end by 1pm. The Lt Governor of Delhi, VK Saxena, will administer the oath to the new Chief Minister of Delhi and his Council of Ministers.
Mr. Modi, Ms. Amit and Mr Nadda, Chairman of the BJP– these power elites for all practical purposes– are scheduled to attend such a grand event. Altogether, 30,000 guests have been invited to the event,
including top leaders of RSS and Dharm Gurus. Business people, actors, Laddli Bahanas and auto drivers or grape pickers from villages near Delhi will also be State Guests.
Outgoing Delhi chief minister Atishi is also likely to be invited, and the convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Arvind Kejriwal as per protocol.
Since yesterday, 25,000 security personnel and forces under the central government watchdog have been deployed in and around Delhi.
Hundreds of PCR vans, commandos equipped with weapons and tyre-puncturing spikes on their boots (SWAT teams), Quick Reaction Teams have been deployed across Delhi. Sniper rifles have been set up on rooftops that are high enough to offer a long-range vantage point over the city.
