📘 Job Role and Responsibilities:
You will mainly be tasked with attending to metro ticketing systems and serving the commuters. The token operator is the representative of Mumbai Metro, and every effort is attached with to ensure that every traveler is provided ease and comfort.
Key Responsibilities:
- Distributing travel tokens and smart cards to commuters through mechanized and manual ticketing systems.
- Processing and receiving of ticket payment transactions, both cash and card payment as rapidly and accurately as possible.
- Answering inquiries from commuters on metro lines, ticket prices and travel times.
- Properly managing and observing ticketing and vending machines to ensure proper functioning
- Checking and controlling the discipline of station. During heavy travelling periods, the control of boarding and alighting at the station is to be controlled.
- Cash and credit sale transactions for cash reconciled with cash collection must be recorded on the available forms. Daily sales documentation is collected for cash reconciled with collection.
- Help with crowd management and answer questions from passengers in a polite and helpful manner.
- Let the Station Controller or the Maintenance Department know right away of any technical or system problems.
- Keep the ticket counters and entry gates safe, secure, and clean.
- Adhere to company policies, set guidelines, and procedures regarding customer service.
🎓 Educational Qualification:
The educational criteria for the position of Token Operator in Mumbai Metro 2025 is as follows:
Minimum Qualification: 10th Pass / 12th Pass from any recognized board.
Preferred Qualification: Any stream Diploma / Graduate (preferably in Computer Applications, Management, or Commerce).
