1. Selection Process for Railway Group D 2025
The selection process includes the following stages:
- Computer-Based Test (CBT-1)

3. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Candidates who qualify CBT-2 will be called for PET, which is different for male and female candidates:
For Male Candidates:
- Lift and carry 35 kg for 100 meters in 2 minutes (without stopping).
- Run 1000 meters in 4 minutes and 15 seconds.
For Female Candidates:
- Lift and carry 20 kg for 100 meters in 2 minutes.
- Run 1000 meters in 5 minutes and 40 seconds.
4. Document Verification & Medical Examination
- Candidates passing PET will be called for Document Verification.
- Medical examination ensures candidates meet the vision and fitness requirements necessary for railway jobs.
